Lead submission


The "Add New Lead" feature allows users of the Partnerplace portal to submit information for tracking new business opportunities. Essential details such as the lead's first name and age are captured during this process to build a lead profile.

The lead form can differ from vendor to vendor - thus the information required for each lead may be different.

Steps

  1. Starting the Process:
    • Click the "Create New Lead" button from the Lead List module to initiate a new lead entry
  2. Filling Lead Information:
    • First Name: Enter the first name of the lead. This is a mandatory field marked by an asterisk (*).
      • Description: Provides guidance on what to enter, in this case, "first name."
    • Age: Input the age of the lead. This field is also mandatory.
      • Description: Additional instructions or context for the field, e.g., "age."
  3. Submitting the New Lead:
    • After entering all the required information, click the "Add New Lead" button to submit the lead to the list.
    • To cancel the process and discard the information entered, click the "Cancel & Discard" button.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Unable to submit a new lead.

Solution: Ensure that all mandatory fields are filled. Check if there are any network issues or system errors that could be preventing submission.

Issue: 'Cancel & Discard' not working.

Solution: Confirm that you want to discard the entered information. If the button is not responsive, refresh the page or try accessing the feature in a different web browser.

Issue: Mandatory fields not marked.

Solution: Mandatory fields are typically marked with an asterisk (*). If they are not visible, there may be a display issue. Try adjusting your browser's zoom settings or clearing the cache.
