Mass mailing module
The Mass Mailing module in Partnerplace allows you to push notifications (and effectively emails) to multiple partners simultaneously. This feature helps streamline communication within your partnership network.
Accessing the Mass Mailing Module
- Log in to your Partnerplace account.
- Navigate to the Partner List view.
- Click on the "Send a Message" button in the top right corner.
Creating a Mass Mailing
- To select recipients, use the Partner List view to filter partners based on criteria such as:
- Country
- City
- Partner Manager
- Partner Type
- Partner Tier
- Status
- You can also manually select specific partners by checking the boxes next to their names in the Partner List or "select all" tick on the left side of the list..
- In the "Send a Message" dialog, you'll see the following options:
- Role: By default, this is set to "Owner". This field determines who the message is coming from.
- Message Title: Enter a title for your message. This is a required field.
- Message Body: Compose your message using the rich text editor. This allows for formatting options such as bold, italic, underline, and more. This is a required field.
- Add attachments: You can upload files or choose from your repository. Click "Upload File" to add new attachments.
Sending the Mass Mailing
- After composing your message and selecting recipients, click the "Send" button at the bottom of the dialog.
- If there are no available users with the selected roles for the chosen partners, you'll see a warning message. In this case, review your recipient selection or role settings.
Important Notes
- Be mindful of the number of recipients to avoid overwhelming partners with too many messages.
- Use the filtering options in the Partner List to target your message effectively.
- You can see details about your partners in the Partner List, including their type, tier, number of leads, revenue won, and estimated value.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with the Mass Mailing module, try these troubleshooting steps:
- No Recipients Available:
- Check that you have selected partners in the Partner List.
- Verify that the selected partners have the appropriate roles assigned.
- Unable to Send Message:
- Ensure all required fields (Message Title and Message Body) are filled out.
- Check your internet connection.
- Attachments Not Uploading:
- Verify the file size and format are supported.
- Try uploading the file to your repository first, then selecting it from there.
- Message Not Received by Partners:
- Check if the notificaiton message was caught by spam filters.
