Tasks module

The Tasks module in Partnerplace allows you to create, manage, and assign tasks to partners or keep them internally for yourself and your team. This feature helps streamline workflow and communication within your partnership network.

Accessing the Tasks Module

  1. Log in to your Partnerplace account.
  2. Navigate to the Inbox at the top of the menu.
  3. Click on "Tasks"

Tasks Configuration

To set up and use the Tasks module effectively:

  1. Go to your inbox view and switch to task mode. Ensure you are in the correct view to manage your tasks.
  2. Add your first task. This can be an internal task visible only to you, or a task you can share with partners in your network.

  1. Fill in the task with as much detail and attachments as possible. The more information and resources you provide, the easier it will be for partners to understand what needs to be done.
  2. Monitor the progress of tasks and provide feedback. Track the status of tasks, approve or reject them, and offer constructive feedback to your partners to help them achieve their goals.

Creating a New Task

  1. Click on "Add new task" button.
  2. Fill in the following details:
    • Ownership:
      • Select Partner Type
      • Choose specific Partners or select "Share task for every partner in the system"
      • Optionally mark the task as internal (invisible for partners)
    • Content:
      • Task name (required)
      • Task description (required)
      • Add attachments or choose a file from the repository
    • Additional settings:
      • Option to require confirmation to complete the task
      • Option to require an answer from the partner (text or file upload)

Managing Tasks

In the task view, you can see:

  • Task status (New, In Progress, Done)
  • Task name
  • Assigned partner(s)
  • Date of task
  • Task progress

Troubleshooting Tasks Module

If you encounter issues with the Tasks module, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Tasks Not Appearing:
    • Ensure you're in the correct task mode view.
    • Check that tasks are assigned to the correct partner type or specific partners.
  2. Partners Can't See Tasks:
    • Verify that the Tasks module is activated for partners.
    • Check individual task settings to ensure they're not marked as internal.
  3. Task Notifications Not Sending:
    • Review your notification settings in the Administrator Panel.
    • Ensure partner email addresses are correct and up-to-date.
  4. Unable to Add Attachments:
    • Check file size and format restrictions.
    • Try uploading the file to the Files module first, then linking it to the task.
  5. Task Progress Not Updating:
    • Refresh the page to see the latest updates.
    • Ensure partners have the necessary permissions to update task status.
