Core notification settings
The Core Notification Settings in Partnerplace allow you to customize how and when you receive notifications about various activities within the platform. These settings control the information visible in the Notifications tab but do not affect email notifications.
Accessing Notification Settings
- Log in to your Partnerplace account.
- Navigate to the Administrator Panel.
- Click on "Notification tab settings" in the left sidebar menu.
Your Settings
Under the "Your Settings" tab, you can configure the following options:
General Settings
- Notify me whenever a new lead is added
- Remind me to do a quarterly partner review
- Remind me to update partner commissions every month
- Notify me when the partner's profile was not updated in [X] weeks
- Notify me when a lead has no updates/comments for [X] weeks
- Notify me if I forget to contact a partner for [X] weeks
- Notify me whenever a lead's status changes
- Notify me whenever a partner adds a new comment
For time-based notifications, you can specify the number of weeks in the provided input fields.
Pipeline Settings
Set up notifications for when your partners' pipeline reaches certain thresholds:
- Ka-ching! Your partners' pipeline just exceeded 100 PLN
- Ka-ching! Your partners' pipeline just exceeded 1000 PLN
- Ka-ching! Your partners' pipeline just exceeded 10000 PLN
You can add more pipeline thresholds by clicking "Add another option".
Number of Partner Settings
Receive congratulatory notifications when you reach partner milestones:
- Congratulations! You have just added your 5th partner
- Congratulations! You have just added your 10th partner
- Congratulations! You have just added your 20th partner
You can add more milestones by clicking "Add another option".
Partner Notification Settings
Under the "Partner Notification Settings" tab, you can configure notifications sent to your partners.
General Settings
- Notify partner whenever I add a new lead assigned to them
- Notify partner when the profile was not updated in [X] weeks
- Notify partner when a lead has no updates/comments for [X] weeks
- Notify partner if we have not communicated for [X] weeks
- Notify partner whenever a lead's status changes
- Notify partner whenever I add a new comment
Pipeline Settings
Set up notifications for partners when their pipeline reaches certain thresholds:
- Ka-ching! Your pipeline just exceeded 100 PLN
- Ka-ching! Your pipeline just exceeded 1000 PLN
- Ka-ching! Your pipeline just exceeded 5000 PLN
Welcome Message to All New Partners
Customize the welcome message sent to new partners:
- Message Title: Enter a title for your welcome message (e.g., "Welcome to our partner network!")
Message Body: Use the rich text editor to craft a personalized welcome message. You can format text, add links, and customize the message to suit your partnership program.
Saving Your Settings
After configuring your notification preferences, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
By customizing these notification settings, you can ensure that you and your partners stay informed about important activities and milestones within your Partnerplace account.
Troubleshooting notification settings
If you're experiencing issues with your notification settings, try these troubleshooting steps:
Notifications Not Appearing
- Check Your Settings: Ensure that the desired notifications are enabled in both "Your Settings" and "Partner Notification Settings" tabs.
- Verify Time Intervals: For time-based notifications, make sure you've entered appropriate values in the week fields.
- Browser Cache: Clear your browser cache and cookies, then log out and log back into Partnerplace.
Pipeline Notifications Not Triggering
- Threshold Values: Confirm that your pipeline thresholds are set to realistic values that align with your business goals.
- Currency Settings: Ensure that the currency (PLN) matches your account settings.
Partner Milestone Notifications Not Working
- Partner Count: Verify that your total number of partners aligns with the milestone settings you've configured.
- Duplicate Entries: Check for any duplicate milestone entries that might be conflicting.
Welcome Message Not Sending
- Message Content: Ensure both the Message Title and Message Body fields are filled out.
- Rich Text Formatting: If your welcome message includes complex formatting, try simplifying it to rule out formatting issues.
