How to configure SMTP for email notifications in Partnerplace (Whitelabel)

This is part of the Whitelabel configuration. The SMTP config will allow you to push all the system notifications from Partnerplace from your domain email address.

To configure SMTP settings for email notifications in Partnerplace, follow these steps:


Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to the Administrator Panel
    • Navigate to the Administrator Panel from the menu on the left.
  2. Open My Branding
    • Under the Administrator Panel, select "My Branding."
  3. Locate SMTP Configuration Section
    • Scroll down to find the "Your SMTP configuration" section.
  4. Enter SMTP Details
    • Fill in the SMTP configuration fields with your server SMTP data (you can ask your dev or hosting/server provider for these if you can't find these):
      • SMTP Host: mail.yourdomain.com - an exemplary host
      • SMTP Port: 587  or 465  (As an example of SMTP ports for StartTLS and SSL)
      • SMTP User: youruser@yourdomain.com - simply speaking, a login you use for that mailbox
      • SMTP From email address: Use an email address within your domain that you wish to use for notifications, e.g., no-reply@yourdomain.com - it will be forced as a sender.
      • SMTP Password: Enter the password associated with the SMTP user.
    • Save Configuration
  5. After entering all the details, click on "Save Branding" to save your SMTP configuration.

  • Incorrect SMTP Settings: Ensure that you have entered the correct SMTP Host, Port, User, and From email address.
