General Settings
These functions are available only to the vendors.
The "General Settings" subsection within the Admin Panel is the command center for configuring the foundational settings of the Partnerplace portal. It covers essential parameters such as system currency, company details, and main administrator information.
Key functionalities
System currency:
- Set the default currency for financial transactions and reporting within the platform.
Warning! Set the default currency at the beginning of the set up process. Once the first lead is added to the system, you will not be able to modify it. If this happens, contact us.
Company details:
- Enter and update key business information including company name and tax number.
- Provide a full address for the business.
Main administrator information:
- Manage the contact details for the platform's main administrator including name, email, and phone number.
- Offer a password reset function for security and access management.
Steps for configuration
Setting system currency:
- Select the desired currency from the "System Currency" dropdown menu to apply it platform-wide.
Updating company details:
- Input the company name and tax number in the respective fields.
- Complete the "Full Address" section with accurate company location details.
Managing main admin account:
- Under "Main Admin," fill in the administrator’s first and last name.
- Enter a valid email address and contact phone number.
- Utilize the "Reset password" link as needed for account security.
Saving changes:
- Click the "Save Changes" button to apply the new settings.
- Ensure that all required fields (marked with an asterisk) are complete before saving.
Troubleshooting
Issue: Unable to save new settings.
Solution: Check that all mandatory fields are filled and confirm you have the necessary administrative permissions. If errors persist, consider refreshing the page or contact technical support.
Issue: System currency not updating.
Solution: Ensure that the chosen currency is supported by the platform. Save the changes again and wait a moment to see if the update takes effect.
Issue: Reset password not functioning.
Solution: Verify network connectivity and browser compatibility. If the reset link is still non-functional, reach out to technical support for assistance.
